“I am Healthy.”
This has been my mantra for the past month or so. I was dealing with a few health issues and realized that I focus on so many things and tend to place my health on the back burner. I don’t eat horribly and I’m not completely inactive, but I realized that I did not give the health of my body the true attention it needed.
Sad enough, I realized that once it started back firing and made me pay attention.
Mantra’s are to keep your mindset positive and focused on the things you want. The more you say them, the more you start to believe them and before you know it, you’ll be making the proper changes in your life.
This week, constantly remind yourself that you are healthy. Speak beautiful, uplifting words about your body, mind and spiritual health, then start to make whatever changes you need, to be the healthiest you, you can be.
Our body is truly our temple. Take of care of it. You are, We are, I am Healthy!
Couponing and Promotional Sales Are Key.
When I was younger, I’d watch my grandma cut out coupons from the newspaper and circle promotional items on sale every Sunday. At the time, I didn’t understand the point of it or the amount of money you can actually save.
It wasn’t until recently when I decided to join the coupon wave. One of my coworkers loves coupons and she’d post on social media once a week the items she had purchased and the amount of money she had saved.
Couponing and promotional sales not only saves you money, but it also gives you the chance to buy a bigger bulk of an item which in the long run, saves you time. It’s one less thing you’ll have to worry about on your next trip to the store.
A lot of people think you can only find coupons in the newspaper or in the store, but you can also find coupons and promotional items online or through phone apps. Many people use a website called www.coupons.com. I’ve also heard a lot of talk about the Krazy Coupon Lady app and the Flipp app.
Lets get to it.
I just downloaded the Flipp app on my phone so that I can start couponing. I absolutely love the app. It’s very user friendly. You’re able to search for specific items you want, whether it’s food, household items, or services. You can also search for specific stores you typically shop at.
You simple go through their weekly ads and if you find something you like, you click on it and it goes into your clippings tab. I listed Publix as one of my stores. I found a few clippings for buy 1, get 1 free cereal, Blueberries 2 for $5 and I was amazed that I had missed out on such great deals for so long.
You’ll see coupons $2 off or even $0.50 off and it may not seem like a lot, but it adds up in the end.
If you haven’t already, try couponing and when you do, check the bottom of your receipt. Pay close attention to the amount you saved from just one trip alone.
This is by far one of my favorite tunes. You may have heard this eccentric sound covered by our fave, Rihanna on her ANTI album. This is the original. Check it out and enjoy your Monday!
